It is a good idea for all MemberConnect sites to maintain backups of all of their home pages. This copy will come in handy if you ever need to restore your homepage for any reason.
The Full WYSIWYG [Java] editor allows you to create a backup of all of your homepages. You can save an HTML copy of all your site's homepages on your computer or removable storage devices.
To take a backup, make sure you are using the Full WYSIWYG [Java} editor. To check this:
1. In the upper right hand side of your MemberConnect site, click on the I want to drop down list and select edit my options.
2. There are two drop-down lists, for both of these sections, select Full WYIWYG [Java] (full operation).
Once you are set to use the Full WYSIWYG [Java] editor, go to your home page and edit it to open the WYSIWYG editor. On the toolbar at the top of the editor window, click on File and Select Save. This will open a window where you can give your homepage a name and determine the save location.
Note that you should repeat this process to take a backup of each of your custom home pages (make sure to save the files with different names). |
