I have copied SS 7.5 to my laptop (Windows XP Pro). I have gotten past most of the problems. I can now log in and can pull up accounts in Finance. I am only working with the Finance module. I do get the error Run-time error 339 - Component "Crystl32.ocx" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid.
I have copied Crystl32.ocx to the windows/system32 in XP Pro.
I have tried to re-register it with (Run regsvr32.exe crystl32.ocs) but I get the message library load (crystl32.ocx) failed. The specific module could not be found.
SS 7.5 runs without any problems on the PC running Windows XP but I can't seem to get all the bits in the right place in Windows XP Pro. Can you offer further suggestions. I do not have the CD to try and re-install on the laptop.
Thanks! |

| Hello. Try deleting the file from the windows\system32 folder, then run the install from the CD to either install the program or replace the file. The program does need to be installed from the CD, copying the program from one computer to another will not work. If you have further questions, please contact us at 800-346-6120. |

| There is no crystl32.ocx on the XP-Pro CD. I re-installed the 7.5 demo. The install completed but gave the message that crystl32.ocx did not register. I tried to run "regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\crystl32.ocx. It accepted the run command. I still get the same error 339 message in the demo version when I access any of the commands. I may just have to give up on the laptop. |

| Hello. Check to see if the crystl32.ocx file is in your windows\system32 folder, more than likely it is. Delete it, then run the repair from the CD. This should replace and reregister the file. If you have further questions, please contact us at 800-346-6120. |
