|
Just recv'd a new laptop with Windows 7 OS and I am using IE8.
Each time I try to edit an announcement or similar page where the WYSIWYG tools are used, my system tries to download and install Java (though Java is already installed). If I let it install fully I still cannot use WYSIWYG editor.
I have tried a complete uninstall of Java, reboot and reinstall from scratch to no avail.
Any thoughts? |

Hi rlmasse,
Everytime you open the WYSIWYG editor, you will see a Java screen uploading. (as well as the Ephox Editor) The first thing to verify is your settings. Do this by clicking the "I Want To" drop down on the right-hand side and select 'Edit My Options'. Make sure the correct editor is selected.
If the correct editor is selected, try clearing your Internet cookies, cache, and temporary internet files.
If neither of these fixes your problem, we will have to further assist you in troubleshooting over the telephone (1-800-346-6120). _________________ Kristina Rodgers
