The login link needs to be there, otherwise, your members would not have a way to log on to the site from the home page. If a visitor clicks on it, they would be taken to the sign on page (just as a member would). Obviously, without a user login, they would have to back out of that page to go back to the regular site. You cannot customize the home page to remove that login option.
When you're not logged on to the site, the I want to menu options will only allow a visitor to view the pages of the MC site that are publically available, they will not see options for pages that they cannot access. In a sense, what appears here would be customized depending on the parts of your site that are set to a public access level. |
