|
|
| We have many things listed on our main menu, and we are trying to streamline it a bit by moving some of them to "Groups." It will be the same page but just in a new location. Can I just move it, or do I have to delete it on the main menu and then create it all over again under "groups?" I'm hoping there will something easier than redoing all the webpages! |

The best way to handle this would be to perform the following steps:
1. In your main group, go to the Administration page.
2. Under content management, click Manage Your web pages.
3. Locate the custom page in the list, click the e in the red circle next to the name (opening the edit page window for the custom page).
4. Open the WYSWYG editor for the page.
5. Go to file, save as and save page to your hard drive (it will save as an html document).
6. Delete the current page (use delete button at top of page).
7. Go to the group, add a new page.
8. Open the WYSIWYG editor, click File, open and select the html file you saved in step #5.
9. Save the page (click button at top of page).

Thank you so much! Your directions were perfect.
Now I have one more question:
We have duplicate groups listed that we want to delete. I cannot figure out how to do that. I go to administration then to the home page of the duplicate group, and there is no option to delete. The only options are add and cancel. How do I get rid of these duplicates? Thanks. |

Just for any one else browsing this topic,
to delete a group, go to the administration page for the group, then under the Group Management heading, select Edit your group's information. Click the Delete button at the top of the page, click OK to confirm the deletion of the group.
Jan, thanks again for posting on the forum. |
