| I would like to send an e-mail to a pre-defined group when adding an event to the calendar. I now have the complete church group to choose from and only want to send to a fraction of that list. This group I want to send does have a name but is not on the list to choose from in the calendar mode. |

Hello,
In order to send an email to a selected group of people, you would need to have a group set up with those people added to the group. Then, you can select your group from the "You are viewing" dropdown at the top of the screen. Once the group is selected, you can either compose an email through administration or add an event to the calendar and choose who is a participant and receives the notifications. Either of these options would narrow down the selection of people to only the group selected.
